    The company behind
    Dock Optimizer.

A founder-led logistics software company based in Cupertino, California.

    Company and product

    Conmitto builds Dock Optimizer.

Conmitto Inc. is the company. It is founder-led, based in Cupertino, California, with roots in Chicago, and the holding company was established in 2016.

Dock Optimizer is what we build: the dock scheduling and yard platform, launched in 2022. Every other product on this page is part of Dock Optimizer or built on it.

    The Name
"Conmitto is Latin for to connect — to send together, to entrust, to bind."
    con-
    Together

From the Latin preposition meaning with, together, jointly — things joined into one.

    -mittere
    To send, to put

From the Latin verb meaning to release, to entrust, to set in motion — with purpose.

    conmitto
    To connect and bind

To join forces. To commit to something. To bind yourself to a shared outcome.

When we named this company, we chose a word that would define everything we do. How our software connects shippers, warehouses, and carriers into a single coordinated network. How we connect deeply with the operations teams we serve. And how we bind ourselves — not just contractually, but genuinely — to each client's long-term success.

This isn't branding. It's a commitment we wrote into the name.

    The Network

    Dock Optimizer isn't a dock scheduling tool.It's a network.

Every appointment booked, every dock door opened, every BOL captured — it's a signal flowing between three parties that have never had a shared language. Until now.

    Shippers

Brand manufacturers and retailers who need consistent, predictable dock access across every 3PL they partner with.

    Warehouses & DCs

3PLs and distribution centers who need to orchestrate dozens of dock doors, carriers, and inbound/outbound flows every hour.

    Carriers

Trucking companies and independent owner-operators who need a self-serve booking link — no apps, no phone calls, no waiting.

Dock Optimizer is the connective tissue in the middle — the platform that speaks all three languages simultaneously and turns scheduling chaos into coordinated flow.

The point of view behind the product

The Physical Economy: A Field Guide

Written by the Conmitto / Dock Optimizer team, this eleven-chapter field guide is the argument behind Dock Optimizer. It explains why the industry's software is behind the work happening in U.S. freight and where the dock fits in fixing it.

    How We Work

    We don't sell software.
    We bind with our clients.

Most software vendors hand you a login and a help-desk ticket. We do the opposite. We embed deeply with operations teams, walk the dock floor, understand the actual workflow, and build together over years — not quarters.

    • Multi-year partnerships by default

Our relationships are measured in years, not months. We go deeper with fewer clients rather than wide with many.

    • Operators as co-designers

Dock managers, logistics coordinators, and warehouse supervisors shape the product roadmap — not abstract user personas.

    • Genuinely bound to your outcome

We track your detention costs, dwell times, and dock throughput. If your numbers don't improve, neither do ours.

    Our Company

    Founder-led. Operator-focused. Built to last.

Conmitto Inc. is a small, focused company headquartered in Cupertino, California, with deep operational roots in Chicago. We stay lean by design — every team member serves operators directly, and every line of code solves a real problem we've seen on a real dock floor.

We're not building toward an exit. We're building a generational platform for the people who run warehouses, manage docks, and keep supply chains moving — the operators the industry tends to overlook.
